City of Rocks State Park is a scenic and unique setting of volcanic rock formations in the Chihuahuan desert region of southwest New Mexico. The park and surrounding terrain offer excellent opportunities for hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and camping. There are both electric and non-electric sites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 50 feet in length. Most sites are available first-come, first-serve but there are some that can be reserved online. All sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits/grills. Additional amenities include modern restrooms with showers and drinking water. The sites that are reservable must be reserved at least a day in advance. All sites are $10 per night.
